Iran defeats Slovenia in friendly volleyball match

TEHRAN, Sep. 10 (MNA) – Iran’s national volleyball team defeated Slovenia 3-1 (34-32, 25-23, 25-23, 24-26) in a friendly match on Tuesday.

Team Melli will also meet Germany on Wednesday as part of preparation for the 2025 FIVB World Championship.

Iran has been drawn in Pool A along with Egypt, Tunisia, and the Philippines.

Iran will start the campaign with a match against Egypt on September 14.

The competition will be held in Pasay, the Philippines, from September 12 to 28.
